Rabat –The Kingdom of Morocco, on Wednesday, condemned in the strongest terms the attacks that targeted oil facilities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using drones, affirming its full solidarity with Riyadh and its support for all legitimate measures aimed at protecting its sovereignty and security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad explained, in an official statement, that these attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, constitute a serious violation of its national security and an unacceptable threat to the security and stability of the Gulf region and the entire Middle East.
The communication affirmed that Morocco renews its firm position in support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing its absolute standing by its side in the face of this attack, and its support for all legitimate measures it takes to defend its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents of its lands.
This position comes within the framework of the fraternal and strategic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Rabat’s permanent affirmation of supporting everything that would enhance regional security and stability.
