The Vice-President of the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights, Naima Al-Araibi, and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Committee, held a meeting in the House of Representatives in the city of Benghazi, to discuss a group of issues involved in pursuing human rights and enhancing commitment to relevant international treaties.
The meeting included a discussion about Libyan youth imprisoned in Italy, and Al-Aqouri stated that the committee is studying the file carefully and aims to intensify diplomatic efforts in this regard.
The two parties touched on the great importance of studying plans to build competencies and advance human rights work through joint work with international partners.
