Morocco and Oman sign an agreement to train lawyers and jurists

Rabat-On Monday in Rabat, Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman signed a new memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of training and qualification of lawyers, jurists and experts, within the framework of consolidating the partnership between the two countries in the judicial and legal sector.

The agreement was signed by the Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abdel Latif Wehbe, and the Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Saidi, during official discussions that dealt with ways to develop cooperation and exchange experiences and expertise between the two institutions.

The memorandum aims to establish an institutional framework for cooperation, through the exchange of training programs and approved curricula, organizing training courses and joint professional visits, in addition to holding specialized seminars and workshops in the legal and judicial field.

The two sides also agreed to prepare annual work plans to activate the contents of the agreement, thus contributing to developing the efficiency of human resources and enhancing the performance of the judicial system in the two countries.

Moroccan Minister of Justice Abdellatif Wehbe stressed that this agreement reflects the depth of fraternal relations between Rabat and Muscat, and embodies the common will to advance legal cooperation and develop the continuous training of professionals in the justice sector.

For his part, the Omani Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Saidi, explained that the memorandum constitutes a practical mechanism to expand cooperation and exchange of experiences, in a way that serves the common interests of the two brotherly countries in the legal and judicial fields.
