It is a periodical“Safety”The first smart security platform was developed by engineers and technicians affiliated with the General Directorate of National Security. It was equipped with an integrated system based on cameras that cover the vehicle’s surroundings at a 360-degree angle, and automated reading techniques for vehicle number plates, in addition to an instant face recognition system, with a direct link to command and coordination halls and security units.
This system relies on advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, which allow real-time analysis of data while roaming the streets, enhancing monitoring capabilities, contributing to regulating traffic and supporting efforts to combat crime.
It also entered the periodical“orbit”It is in service as a mobile surveillance platform that turns security vehicles into smart units, thanks to their being equipped with high-resolution cameras capable of monitoring six traffic lanes at the same time, in addition to a panoramic camera that covers various angles within a few seconds, and an advanced traffic signal system that ensures the effectiveness of field interventions.
The acting head of the main center of the Command and Coordination Hall in the Casablanca Security Prefecture, Abderrazak Safsafi, confirmed that the project represents a purely Moroccan achievement based on innovative technological solutions, and aims to enhance the readiness of the security services, improve the quality of services provided to citizens, and accelerate the response to field interventions.
He added that these patrols are also equipped with a geographical location system, with the ability to directly access the central database of National Security via built-in monitoring devices, which enhances the speed and accuracy of security decision-making.
The launch of “Aman” and “Madar” comes after the completion of the development stages, field tests, and the formation of the security personnel responsible for operating them. They will be gradually distributed to various cities in the Kingdom, after they began operating this week in Rabat, Tangier, and Casablanca.
This initiative falls within the efforts of the General Directorate of National Security to modernize the security system and enhance the use of modern technology, in preparation for the major international challenges that the Kingdom will embrace, most notablyWorld Cup 2030.
