Tunisia –The Moroccan women’s under-17 team achieved a landslide victory over its Libyan counterpart, 10-0, in the match that brought them together on Monday evening at Al-Karam Stadium on the outskirts of the Tunisian capital, in the second round of the North African Women’s Football League competitions.
The “Atlas Lionesses” imposed complete control over the course of the match, achieving their first victory in the tournament after drawing in the opening round against the Botswana national team with a score of (1-1), raising their score to four points.
The tournament will be held in the form of a mini-league with the participation of the teams of Morocco, Tunisia and Libya, along with Botswana as a guest, and the team with the highest number of points will be crowned champion after the end of the three rounds.
In the other match of the same round, the Tunisian team continued its positive results after defeating Botswana with two unanswered goals, achieving its second victory in a row, following its great victory in the first round over Libya with a score of (11-0).
The Moroccan national team will have a decisive confrontation against its Tunisian counterpart, on July 22, in an upcoming match that may decide the identity of the champion of the North African League for the under-17 category, given the closeness of the two teams at the top of the standings.
