Rabat –The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has issued a new book documenting the outcome of 25 years of its work during the period extending between 1999 and 2024, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, reviewing the most prominent programs and initiatives that have marked the Foundation’s path in the field of social work and human development.
The book is 159 pages long and, supported by photographs of His Majesty the King, reviews the various stages of the institution’s development, highlighting the projects and programs that contributed to consolidating its intervention model for the benefit of fragile and most needy groups.
The author highlights that the Foundation has adopted, since its founding, an integrated approach based on promoting equal opportunities and improving citizens’ living conditions, through programs that include access to treatment, education, and training, and the integration of persons with disabilities, in addition to supporting the economic integration of women and youth.
According to the data contained in the book, since 1999, the Foundation has mobilized a total of 10.13 billion dirhams, more than half of which was allocated to support vulnerable groups, while other funds were directed to promoting economic inclusion, improving health services, and developing solidarity cooperation programs.
The author also confirms that the Foundation has succeeded, over a quarter of a century, in building a wide network of partnerships with public and private actors, associations and international organizations, which has contributed to the sustainability of its projects and the enhancement of its social impact inside and outside Morocco.
This publication reflects the path of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in consolidating the values of solidarity and social work, and continuing to implement development projects aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting social inclusion for the benefit of various beneficiary groups.
