New consular and digital facilities for Moroccans around the world in 2027 and special procedures to speed up documents for the diaspora community.

My Press – Follow |The consular services and national institutions concerned with the affairs of the Moroccan community abroad are preparing to implement a new package of administrative, digital and customs facilities starting from the beginning of the year 2027, in implementation of the High Directives aimed at improving the services provided to Moroccans around the world and strengthening their connection with the motherland.

Generalizing the digital consulate and reducing the deadlines for submitting documents

The new measures directed at Moroccans in Europe, North America, the Gulf states, and Africa include several practical axes that concern the daily lives of members of the community:

• Obtaining documents remotely:Expanding the list of evidence, judicial agencies, and civil status documents that can be extracted digitally without the hassle of frequent travel to consulate headquarters.
• Mobile consulates by the end of the week:Programming regular mobile consular patrols in European cities with a high concentration of Moroccans in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
• Stimulating investments by Moroccans around the world:Allocating a unified window in the regional investment centers to keep pace with the community’s projects and enable them to grant new investment support.

Remittances from Moroccans around the world recorded new record levels, strengthening the Kingdom’s hard currency reserves and consolidating the strategic role of the community in the national economic cycle.
