Health Minister Yunus Begu launches a plan to reduce hospital examination times and spread seasonal vaccination free of charge

My Press – Health and Society |The Ministry of Health and Social Protection, under the supervision of Minister ProfessorYunus Bjejo, in activating a field action plan in public hospitals and university hospital centers aimed at reducing the duration of medical appointments and radiological examinations, in conjunction with the launch of the national campaign to prevent seasonal influenza.

Improving patient reception and protecting vulnerable groups in the fall

The new health measures are based on bringing hospital services closer to citizens and enhancing primary prevention in the various regions:

• Extending the working hours of the examination and diagnostic departments:Mobilizing medical, nursing and technical staff to speed up the completion of scanner and MRI examinations and programmed surgical operations.
• Free vaccination for target groups:Providing the seasonal influenza vaccine in health centers for the benefit of elderly people (over 65 years of age), those suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, and heart disease, and pregnant women.
• Digitizing the unified medical file:Continue disseminating the integrated information system in rural and urban health centers to facilitate the treatment process for beneficiaries of the compulsory sickness insurance (AMO) system.

Specialized doctors recommend that the elderly and those with chronic diseases take the seasonal vaccine early and ensure good ventilation and vitamin-rich nutrition during the vicissitudes of autumn.
