Fez, Marrakesh, Agadir and Rabat are at the top of the international rankings

Tourism sector professionals highlighted that the strong recovery included the various Moroccan tourism poles thanks to the diversity of the cultural and natural offer:

• The spiritual capital of Fez and Marrakesh Al Hamra:Guest houses and ancient riads in Fez and Marrakesh recorded high occupancy rates thanks to the attractiveness of ancient cities classified as world heritage by UNESCO and programs to value traditional crafts.
• Agadir, Dakhla and Rabat:Agadir and Dakhla attracted lovers of beach tourism and marine sports, while the capital, Rabat, emerged as a global cultural destination with its museums and historical monuments.
• Radiating the authentic Moroccan heritage:National initiatives to protect and document the Moroccan caftan, zellij art, Andalusian music and Moroccan cooking have contributed to enhancing the Kingdom’s cultural radiance throughout the world.
