The railway project management and its counterpart, the Chinese Civil Architectural Engineering Company (CCECC), signed a minute of agreement that includes a mechanism for resuming work according to the contracts concluded between the two sides.
The Libyan-Chinese Economic Chamber issued a statement clarifying that this agreement confirms the full commitment of both parties to continue implementing the railway project according to the contractual controls and approved technical specifications, and this is being done in line with the legislation in force in the Libyan state and with the aim of advancing development and strengthening the infrastructure of the transport sector.
