Revealed by Mr.Fawzi Lakjaa, Minister of Economy, Finance and Public Efficiency, announced a radical and comprehensive review of the direct social support system in the draft Finance Law 2027, combining an immediate increase in the value of support and reforming targeting criteria to provide justice to eligible families.

In a move that was widely welcomed, Minister Fawzi Lakjaa announced the end of the old socio-economic index based on expenditures, saying frankly before Parliament:“All evaluations proved that any exceptional expenditure for a particular family, such as telephone purchases or bakkelite purchases, made families out of benefit. Therefore, the government decided to move to a logic that accurately assesses the actual income of each family.”.
