The Ministry explained, in an official statement, that the search and rescue operation lasted two days, after receiving distress calls through traditional fishing channels, as one of the Coast Guard boats on Friday evening found the boat in a dangerous condition threatening to sink.
The operation resulted in the rescue of 37 people and the recovery of the body of one migrant, while the fate of 122 others remains unknown, after the boat was carrying about160 immigrantsWhen he leaves.
