Nouakchott –Research by the Mauritanian Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty,Mohamedou Ahmadou MhamidToday, Thursday, in the capital, Nouakchott, with the Chargé d’Affairs at the Embassy of Ukraine in Mauritania,Roman SeredaWays to enhance bilateral cooperation in the agricultural field, within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to develop partnership and exchange experiences.
The meeting was an opportunity to review opportunities to expand cooperation between the two sides, with a focus on benefiting from Ukrainian technical expertise to support the Mauritanian agricultural sector and enhance its capabilities to keep pace with development and food security requirements.
According to a brief issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, the Ukrainian side expressed its readiness to share its expertise in various agricultural fields, and to contribute to supporting programs aimed at developing production and improving performance within the sector.
The two parties also discussed the prospects for concluding new cooperation agreements that serve common interests and open broader areas of partnership between Mauritania and Ukraine in the agricultural field.
