The Moroccan national under-17 team qualified for the final of the African Junior Football Cup of Nations (CAN U17), after defeating the Côte d’Ivoire national team on penalties (4-3). The match ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
The match was held on the field of Al-Bashir Stadium in the city of Mohammedia, and witnessed clear control by the Moroccan team. The young players showed a strong defensive and offensive organization, and were able to secure the qualification ticket after an exciting football saga.
