The military spokesman for the Houthis said,Yahya SareeThe group carried out an attack using ballistic and winged missiles and drones, stressing that the group will continue to escalate according to what he described as the equation“Siege by siege and escalation by escalation”.
In return, he announcedCoalition to Support Legitimacy in YemenCarrying out a military operation targeting military sites belonging to the Houthis in Hodeidah Governorate, explaining that the strikes came in response to threats targeting navigation in the Red Sea, and stressing that the operations did not target Yemeni ports or commercial shipping traffic.

Yemeni media also reported raids on sites, missile launchers, drones, and weapons depots belonging to the Houthis in the two governoratesMa’rib and Al-JawfWhile local authorities announced deaths and injuries among the group’s ranks, without issuing an independent tally confirming those numbers.
For its part, the Houthi group considered that the raids on Hodeidah and Kamaran Island represent“A dangerous escalation”Stressing that it will respond to any attacks targeting the areas under its control.
