Sami Trabelsi, coach of the Tunisian national team, praised the quality of the sports infrastructure in Morocco, stressing that the stadiums helped the teams provide a good technical level during the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025” competitions, despite the bad weather conditions.
Trabelsi’s statements came during the press conference that followed the “Carthage Eagles” match against Uganda, yesterday evening, Tuesday, in the first round of the group stage, where he pointed out that the Olympic Stadium floor maintained its excellent condition throughout the match, despite the heavy rain that lasted more than two continuous hours.
The Tunisian national team coach added that the quality of the grass was not affected by the heavy rainfall, which gave the players the ability to control the ball and implement their tactical plans, and contributed to enabling the national team to impose its playing style and control the course of the match.
Trabelsi pointed out that the tournament’s stadiums, supported by modern technologies, have proven their ability to deal with difficult weather conditions, as none of the matches were affected by the rain and were not stopped, which reflects Morocco’s high readiness to host a major continental tournament in a volatile climate environment.
