Rabat– I signedMinistry of Endowments and Islamic AffairsToday, Thursday, a memorandum of understanding was signed withInternational Islamic Jurisprudence AcademyIn a step aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination in jurisprudential issues and Islamic affairs, and exchanging scientific expertise between the two sides.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Endowments and Islamic AffairsAhmed Al-TawfiqAnd Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh AcademyQutb Mustafa SanoWith the aim of expanding areas of scientific cooperation and benefiting from the Moroccan experience in managing religious affairs.
The memorandum focuses on sharing the experience of the Moroccan scientific institution, especially with regard tocurricula “Submission of notification”, which is based on establishing awareness that Islam is a religion based on serving the public interest, while adhering to the legal constants and certainties.
The Secretary-General of the Academy stressed that this memorandum represents an important milestone in the path of scientific cooperation, praising what he described as the richnessIntellectual and scientific that distinguishes Moroccan scholarsAnd the Moroccan model in consolidating the values of moderate Islam and spreading the culture of moderation and tolerance.
For his part, he explainedMinister of Endowments and Islamic AffairsThe agreement aims to introduce Muslim scholars to the Moroccan experience in the field of religious supervision, exchange experiences on religious awareness mechanisms, and spread a moderate religious discourse that promotes the public interest and preserves the principles of the Islamic religion.
