The Union stated in its statement that those arrested were released with full cooperation between the Communities Union office and the Mauritanian authorities.
The Union praised the effective role played byThe Mauritanian government, the embassy in Libya, and the head of the Mauritanian community in LibyaIn achieving this human victory.
He also noted that some Mauritanian citizens are still detained in other countries, calling for concerted local and international efforts to ensure their release as well.
