The list included a mixture of professional players in European and Arab leagues, in addition to young players who were called up for the first time, in a trend that aims to inject new blood into the ranks of the “Eagles of Carthage” and enhance competition for positions.
On the other hand, the list recorded the absence of a number of prominent names, most notably Montaser Talbi and Bashir Ben Saeed, in addition to Al-Achouri, in addition to the exclusion of Ali Maaloul, Ferjani Sassi, and striker Saif Al-Din Al-Jaziri.
