The complex explained, in an official statement, that the shipment was delivered last Thursday via the floating regasification station“Wilhelmshaven 1”In Germany, after it was launched from a gas liquefaction compound“GL2Z”In the city of Batioua, western Algeria, and was transported on board a liquefied natural gas tanker“Tsala”Owned by Sonatrach.
The company confirmed that this process reflects its ability to keep pace with the transformations taking place in the global gas market, and to benefit from the opportunities offered by international markets, especially in light of the increasing demand for natural gas as it is one of the most prominent energy sources in Europe.
Sonatrach added that its entry into the German market in this way represents a strategic step towards expanding its export network, and strengthens its presence in one of the most important European energy markets, thus consolidating its role as a reliable supplier of natural gas and keeping pace with efforts aimed at ensuring the security of energy supplies to the continent.
