Today, Thursday, at the Council’s headquarters, the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, discussed with the Head of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, the latest developments in the political, economic and security situation in Libya.
According to the media office of the President of the Council, the meeting touched on the measures taken by the Central Bank of Libya, and the importance of addressing the unilateral decisions issued by it. The need for the bank to return to its technical and technical role, away from political disputes, was also stressed, and to work in a single team spirit through a unified board of directors that has experience and competence.
The two sides agreed to establish strict controls to control public spending and improve living conditions for citizens, with a focus on development and reconstruction programs in various parts of Libya through the adoption of a unified budget.
The meeting also discussed activating the Referendum and National Inquiry Commission to ensure governance, enhance transparency, and ensure people’s participation in political and economic decisions.
