70 Spanish companies and companies are preparing to hold an open day for direct employment offering nearly 500 job opportunities in various sectors: The Spanish Red Cross is preparing to organize the fourth edition of the employment fair in the province of Jaén, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with the participation of more than 70 companies from different sectors, with expectations of collecting about 500 job opportunities. The event will be held in the “Activa Jaén” building of the IFEJA Exhibition and Convention Center in the city of Jaén, with the aim of connecting job seekers with companies looking for employees. More than ten companies linked to the city of Linares and its surroundings, including industrial and service companies, are participating in the exhibition, in an event that combines job introductions, direct communication with employers, personal interviews, career guidance workshops and improving opportunities for integration into the labor market. Companies from Linares and various professional sectors Among the companies that have confirmed their participation, according to what was reported by the “Cadena SER” report, are the companies Desay, Meltio, Santana Factory, Martín López Carburantes (MLC), Sonae Arauco, Sunergy, Macrosad and Clece, in addition to the Linares Chamber of Commerce and a number of temporary employment companies operating in the region. The expected opportunities include the sectors of industry, logistics, trade, social and health care, hospitality, management, transportation, and new technologies, in addition to engineering jobs that require specialized qualifications. The exhibition will not be limited to corporate pavilions, as it includes personal interviews, career guidance activities, and helping participants prepare their CVs and improve the way they present their experiences and skills to recruitment officials.

These activities allow job seekers to learn about companies’ requirements and communicate with them directly. Date, place, and how to register The exhibition will be held on October 28, 2026, from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon, in the “Activa Jaén” building inside the IFEJA Center in the city of Jaén, on Granada Road. Participation is free, but advance registration is mandatory due to limited places. After registration, the participant receives a personal QR code that must be presented upon entry. The registration form can be accessed through the event announcement published on the JobTeaser platform, which explains the conditions for free participation and the need to reserve a place in advance. Cadena SER indicated that the number of registered participation requests exceeded 600 as of October 14, which reflects the demand for the event before its date.

Required professional specializations and how to reserve a seat to participate in the employment fair

This number does not mean that all those registered received a confirmed place, or that they applied for specific jobs. The intention to organize free transport buses linking various points within the city to the exhibition headquarters was also announced, with details of the routes and departure and stopping times to be published later. immigrantsSpainIs the exhibition a suitable opportunity for job seekers from Arab communities? The exhibition may constitute an opportunity for Arab residents looking for work in Jaén Governorate, especially for those whose experiences match the participating sectors. However, it should be noted that the presence of a company at the exhibition does not necessarily mean that it will employ all attendees, and that the number of opportunities announced is an estimate and may vary according to the jobs available and the needs of the companies. It is useful for the job seeker to bring an updated copy of his CV, and to prepare to clarify his experiences, skills, and the type of job he is looking for.

The requirements for each job should also be checked, in particular qualifications, experience and legal ability to work inSpainIf these conditions apply to the case. The importance of the exhibition lies in allowing direct communication between job seekers and company owners instead of being limited to sending applications electronically. However, registering for or attending the fair is not equivalent to submitting a formal application for a specific position, and does not guarantee aEmployment contract.
