Libya –The Libyan Football Association, headed by Abdel Mawla Al-Maghribi, revealed the organization of a training camp for the first Libyan national team in Morocco during the international break expected this month, as part of preparations for the upcoming continental matches.
The Federation explained that this camp falls within the program to prepare the “Knights of the Mediterranean” team to participate in the 2027 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, the finals of which will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania under the supervision of the Confederation of African Football.
It is expected that the preparatory group will begin on March 22, led by Senegalese coach Aliou Cisse, who will work to determine the technical and physical readiness of the players before the official duels.
During this camp, the Libyan national team will play two friendly matches on Moroccan soil, against the Niger and Liberia national teams, as part of a preparation program aimed at enhancing harmony within the group and assessing the readiness of the national elements.
