Lieutenant General Mohamed Sheikh Ould Mohamed Al-Amin “Almin”, Director General of Mauritanian National Security, received this morning, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in his office in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Hamid Chabar, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Mauritania.
The meeting revolved around discussing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, where the two parties exchanged views on ways to enhance and develop cooperation in various fields, to serve the interests of Mauritania and Morocco.
This meeting comes in the context of ongoing efforts to consolidate the partnership between Nouakchott and Rabat, which has witnessed positive dynamics in recent years.
Informed sources confirmed to “My Press” that the meeting reflected the two countries’ keenness to deepen joint coordination, especially in the security and economic fields, to confront regional challenges and enhance stability in the region.
