South Korea– AchieveMoroccan national teamWomen’s Taekwondo achieved an unprecedented achievement, winning the titleWorld Taekwondo Team Championship 2026, which was hosted by the city of Chuncheon in the Republic of Korea, to win the first world title in the history of Morocco in this competition.
The national team included:Maryam Khulal, Fatima Al-Zahraa Al-Namis, Nada Laraj, and Amina Al-DahawiHe performed exceptionally well against the elite of international teams, winning the gold medal and writing a new page in the Moroccan sports record.
The tournament witnessed the participation of eight teams, and the Moroccan team began its journey by defeating theteam KazakhstanIn the quarter-finals, before beatingThailandIn the semi-finals, then the final match is decided against theteam Russia, achieving a well-deserved world title.
The Russian team came in second place, while the Iranian team won the bronze medal after defeating Thailand in the third-place match, while the Chinese and Indian teams also participated in the women’s team competitions.
This historic coronation confirms the continuous development of the Moroccan sport of Taekwondo, and reflects the success of the training and preparation programs that enabled the Moroccan champions to impose their presence on the international arena.
