A comprehensive meeting was held in London, bringing together Eng. Masoud Suleiman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, with the CEO of Schlumberger “SLB” for the Middle East, Jose Lamaza, along with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, Muhammad Bin Shatwan, and the President of “SLB” Integrated Services, Gokhan Yaram.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the National Oil Corporation and SLB, with a focus on expanding the company’s services in Libya and increasing its effectiveness in developing the oil sector. Sustainable development projects and the localization of oil industries were also discussed, as Engineer Suleiman issued an official invitation to open branches of SLB factories inside Libya, with the aim of providing job opportunities, revitalizing the private sector, and reducing dependence on imports.
The head of the corporation pointed out the importance of preparing Libyan competencies that would contribute to the qualification of various energy fields. He also highlighted his confidence in “SLB” and its ability to enhance technical and technical support in line with achieving a qualitative leap in the level of workers’ efficiency and raising the quality of oil services.
The speaker stressed the importance of strengthening the framework of gas services and reducing its burning in the open, while not burning it completely in the future to preserve the environment, thus enhancing the National Oil Corporation’s roadmap, raising the quality of production and achieving a sustainable environment.
