The retired Moroccan artistwas transferred Abdel Hadi Belkhayat, in what was described as a delicate health condition, on board a private medical plane from Mauritania to Morocco, after suffering a sudden health problem that required urgent intervention.
According to identical data, Belkhayat was admitted yesterday, Tuesday, to the military hospital in the city of Dakhla immediately after his arrival on national territory, before he was transferred, today, to the military hospital in Rabat to complete treatment under the supervision of a specialized medical staff.
The artist, who is 86 years old, was in Mauritania as part of a cultural participation, before his health condition deteriorated as a result of a severe cold that was affected by his advanced age. The same sources indicate that his condition developed into bronchitis accompanied by shortness of breath, which required his transfer to the recovery department to closely monitor his health condition.
The data indicated that the supervising medical team continues to carefully monitor his condition, while taking the necessary remedial measures to ensure health stability and avoid any possible complications.
Abdelhadi Belkhayat is considered one of the prominent names that marked the history of Moroccan song, before he chose to retire and devote himself to his spiritual path, and he continued to enjoy a special place among the Moroccan public.
