Yesterday, Monday, the branch of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Scholars in Mauritania honored the winners of the Noble Prophet’s Hadith Competition, which was organized in Nouakchott, with the participation of more than 100 contestants, as part of religious and scientific efforts to promote the preservation of the Prophet’s Sunnah and consolidate the values of moderation and moderation.
The honoring ceremony took place in the presence of religious officials from Mauritania and representatives of the Foundation, where those responsible stressed the importance of paying attention to the noble Prophet’s hadith and its role in forming a generation of young people who adhere to moderate religious values, while the Mauritanian authorities praised the Foundation’s efforts in supporting scientific and religious activities on the African continent.
The competition witnessed the participation of 101 contestants divided into three levels, competing in the fields of memorizing and memorizing the Prophet’s hadiths and biographical sciences, which reflects the growing interest of Mauritanian youth in Islamic sciences.
Participants during the ceremony also stressed the depth of Moroccan-Mauritanian relations, stressing that they include multiple areas, especially indigenous education and religious affairs, within the framework of continuous cooperation between the two countries.
This competition comes within the programs of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Scholars aimed at promoting the preservation of the Prophet’s Sunnah and consecrating the values of moderation and tolerance among African youth, by organizing scientific and religious competitions in a number of African countries.
