The Gambia delivers a written message to King Mohammed VI in Rabat, praising the depth of the partnership with Morocco

Rabat –Today, Thursday, Morocco received a written message addressed to King Mohammed VI from the President of the Republic of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, conveyed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Serene Modo Njie, during his reception by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, in the capital, Rabat.

During the meeting, the Gambian official stressed the strength of bilateral relations between Rabat and Banjul, stressing the depth of the ties of friendship and brotherhood that unites the two countries, and the common will to strengthen the strategic partnership in various fields of common interest.

The Gambian Minister also praised the continued Moroccan support for socio-economic development in The Gambia, highlighting that this cooperation was embodied through a number of agreements and projects that contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation and strengthening exchange between the two peoples.

This visit falls within the ongoing dynamism that characterizes Moroccan-Gambian relations, which is based on political and diplomatic cooperation and coordination, with a common direction towards expanding the areas of partnership between the two countries at the African and international levels.
