Prince Moulay Hicham suffered an injury following a fall that was described as violent while participating in an equestrian competition, according to what he himself announced through his accounts on social media.
According to the available data, the person concerned explained that the accident occurred in the final moments of the competition, indicating that he reduced his concentration after he thought he had secured a positive result, before he lost his balance and fell from the horse.
He added that although he was able to return to riding a horse after the accident, the pain was severe, before tests confirmed that he had suffered a fracture at the level of one of the ribs, which required him to undergo a temporary period of rest.
This incident falls within the risks associated with equestrian sports, which require high concentration and great physical effort, especially during official competitions.
The same data confirmed that the prince will undergo a recovery period before resuming his activities, at a time when the accident was considered an experience that falls within the process of learning and gaining experience.
