Tripoli –The Ministry of Economy of the Government of National Unity in Libya announced the signing of a protocol of understanding between the Libyan Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (Hilal Al-Asimah) and the Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sfax, in a step aimed at strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
According to an official statement, the agreement aims to develop partnership and investment opportunities between economic actors in the two countries, with a focus on activating joint initiatives within the private sector and exchanging experiences between institutions.
The protocol was signed on behalf of the Libyan side by Imad Abu Shaala, while the Tunisian side was represented by Habib Al-Hamami, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Libya and a number of Libyan officials.
It is expected that this agreement will open new horizons for businessmen and institutions in both Libya and Tunisia, especially in light of the trend towards enhancing regional economic integration and facilitating trade exchanges between the two countries.
