Rabat –Yesterday, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced the launch of a new additional share of exceptional direct support for the benefit of road transport professionals for people and goods, to cover the period extending from July 16 to 31, 2026, as part of continuing government measures aimed at mitigating the effects of rising petroleum prices.
The Ministry explained, in an official statement, that this step comes within the measures adopted by the government to support professionals in the transportation sector, in light of the continuing rise in fuel prices in international markets and their repercussions on the national market, which contributes to reducing the financial burdens borne by workers in the sector.
The same source added that the process of submitting applications to benefit from this additional quota will begin starting Thursday, August 6, 2026, through the electronic platform previously approved to provide exceptional support directed to road transport professionals.
This support comes in the context of the government continuing to adopt exceptional measures to support transportation professionals, with the aim of maintaining the stability of the sector and mitigating the impact of fuel price fluctuations on their activities.
