Libya-Ajdabiya –Today, Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Ajdabiya Security Directorate announced the implementation of an expanded and sudden security campaign within the city’s industrial district area, which resulted in the arrest of a number of irregular immigrants of Arab and African nationalities, as part of ongoing security operations to enhance stability and combat violations within the urban area.
The Directorate explained that this campaign was carried out based on the instructions of the Director of Ajdabiya Security, Major General Dr. Embarek Mustafa Bouharara, and with the participation of security patrols affiliated with the Directorate, along with the branch of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Service in Ajdabiya and a number of supporting security agencies.
The security operation included careful raids inside industrial workshops, cafes and shops, in addition to various activity points within the industrial district, with the aim of verifying the legal status of those present and monitoring any violations related to residency or irregular work.
Field investigations resulted in the arrest of a number of irregular immigrants, and legal measures were taken against them, before referring them to the branch of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Service in Ajdabiya to complete investigations and administrative procedures in preparation for their deportation in accordance with applicable legislation.
The Ajdabiya Security Directorate confirmed that these campaigns will continue periodically within the various areas of the city, within the framework of a security plan aimed at imposing public order, combating illegal presence, and enhancing control over vital sites.
