Rabat –The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, received today, Friday in Rabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk, who arrived in the Kingdom as a special envoy of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani.
The Mauritanian official carried a message addressed to King Mohammed VI, within the framework of ongoing consultations and coordination between Rabat and Nouakchott on a number of issues of common concern.
This meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the strength of the relations between Morocco and Mauritania, in addition to reviewing the reality of bilateral cooperation and the prospects for its development in various fields.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance joint coordination between the two countries, in line with the dynamism witnessed by Moroccan-Mauritanian relations during the recent period, whether at the political, economic and diplomatic levels.
This meeting comes in the context of the ongoing diplomatic activity between Rabat and Nouakchott, amid a mutual trend towards strengthening partnership and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
