Morocco –The Kingdom of Morocco expressed its strong condemnation of the Iranian missile attack that targeted the territories of a number of sisterly Arab countries, considering it a dangerous act that affects its sovereignty and security.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad explained that the attack targeted the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing that this attack constitutes a clear violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a violation of the sanctity of their territories.
The same source added that the Kingdom considers this escalation a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, because of the risks it poses to regional peace and the safety of civilians.
According to the statement, the Kingdom of Morocco renewed its full solidarity with the sisterly Arab countries, affirming its support for all legitimate measures taken by these countries to protect their security and ensure the safety of their citizens and residents of their territories.
This position comes in the context of Morocco’s continued emphasis on respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, and rejecting all forms of escalation that would destabilize regional stability.
