Rabat –The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, sent a telegram of loyalty and devotion to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on behalf of all members of the House, on the occasion of the conclusion of the second session of the fifth legislative year of the eleventh legislative term, stressing the legislative institution’s pride in the royal patronage and directives of His Majesty in consolidating the state of institutions and strengthening the democratic path.
An official statement explained that the Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the House, the most sincere feelings of loyalty and sincerity to His Majesty the King, praying to God to grant His Majesty good health and well-being, and recalling the royal patronage enjoyed by the legislative institution and the royal directives that represent a reference in supporting reforms and constitutional institutions.
Talbi Al-Alami confirmed that the House of Representatives continued, during the current legislative mandate, to carry out its constitutional powers, by modernizing the national legal system and keeping pace with major reform projects, in line with the requirements of the new development model and the economic and social transformations taking place in the Kingdom.
He added that the Council also continued to exercise its oversight roles through various constitutional mechanisms, in a way that enhances institutional dialogue between the legislative and executive authorities, in addition to continuing to work in the field of parliamentary diplomacy to defend the highest interests of the Kingdom and enhance Morocco’s presence within regional and international parliamentary organizations.
