These discussions took place in the presence of a number of senior Mauritanian military officials, in addition to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Nouakchott, as part of a meeting that falls within the dynamic of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
This visit comes in the context of strengthening military cooperation relations between Morocco and Mauritania, especially in light of the security challenges facing the Sahel-Sahara region, and the joint coordination and exchange of experiences it imposes.
This step also aims to develop cooperation mechanisms between the two sides, and enhance coordination in areas of common interest, in line with regional transformations and increasing security requirements.
The Moroccan military official had arrived in the Mauritanian capital earlier, where he was received at the military airport by Mauritanian military officials, as part of a visit that reflects the will of the two countries to consolidate their strategic partnership.
