صحافة بلادي — The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has approved a new batch of significant reductions in the prices of a wide range of original and generic medicines marketed in Moroccan pharmacies, in a move aimed at enhancing the purchasing power of citizens and facilitating access to treatment.

Discounts of up to 40% on medications for chronic and expensive diseases

The new list includes vital medicines used to treat diabetes, high blood pressure, heart and arterial diseases, some types of cancer and arthritis, in addition to widely used antibiotics.

Encouraging the national pharmaceutical industry to achieve health sovereignty The Ministry stressed that encouraging the local manufacture of medicines in Moroccan laboratories has contributed significantly to reducing the cost of treatment and securing the national drug stock.
