Morocco –The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, in coordination with the Delegate Ministry in charge of the budget, announced the adoption of a joint decision aimed at the final settlement of the administrative and financial situations of a group of contract teachers who have moved in recent years between the regional academies of education and training.
According to available data, the decision was signed by the Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, Mohamed Saad Barada, and the Minister Delegate in charge of the budget, Fawzi Lakjaa, with the aim of ending the outstanding administrative files related to the transfer of a number of professors between the regions.
The decision stipulates that the regional academies that received the concerned professors are mandated to take the necessary measures to issue orders for the disbursement of financial dues related to the settlement of their administrative situations.
These dues include financial rights dating back to the period during which the professors were carrying out their duties within the original academies before they moved to other academies.
The decision also clarifies that compensation and financial arrears will be disbursed based on the financial appropriations allocated for employee expenses, within the framework of the budget approved for this purpose.
This step aims to put an end to a number of administrative and financial files that have been pending for years, in light of repeated demands by union bodies for the necessity of settling them.
Union sources had previously indicated that the Ministry of National Education was working to settle a group of administrative and financial files related to some categories of professors, which had remained pending for a long time.
According to the same sources, a financial cover has been allocated within the Finance Law of 2026 in order to cover the accumulated financial costs associated with these situations.
It is expected that these dues will be disbursed after the Finance Law enters into force, allowing the necessary funds to be mobilized to complete the processing of this administrative file.
