Tunisia –On Sunday evening, Tunisian President Kais Saied made a surprise field visit that included a number of areas in Ariana Province, adjacent to the capital, Tunis, in a move that came amid circulating rumors about his health condition in recent days.
The Tunisian President confirmed, in statements reported by the Tunisian News Agency, that this visit falls within the framework of direct communication with citizens, learning about their concerns, and following up on a number of issues related to public affairs.
Saeed stressed that addressing the problems raised requires comprehensive national solutions, stressing the continuation of work to respond to the demands raised by citizens in various fields.
He also called on officials to carry out their duties in the required manner, highlighting the importance of involving young people in assuming responsibilities and contributing to the management of public affairs during the next stage.
This field trip comes after widespread interaction with rumors circulated on social media regarding the health condition of the Tunisian president, especially after his absence from official activities for more than a week, before he appeared during this visit that ended the controversy surrounding the topic.
During his conversation with citizens, the Tunisian President stressed the continuation of working according to the options he had previously announced, while stressing the importance of preserving the stability of the country and continuing to implement programs and reforms related to national affairs.
