صحافة بلادي — Morocco –His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on Friday, appointed Abderrahim Chahid as Minister of Employment and Social Dialogue in the new government.
Abdel Rahim Shahid comes from the Zagora province. He holds postgraduate studies in geography, land preparation and spatial development, and has accumulated a long professional, administrative and territorial path.
Shahid served as President of the Regional Council of Zagora, and was previously appointed Governor of the Moulay Yacoub Province, before he was elected as a parliamentary representative in the House of Representatives for the Zagora district.
During the legislative term (2021-2026), Abdul Rahim Shahid assumed the presidency of the socialist team in the House of Representatives. He also serves as a member of the political bureau of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces Party and coordinated the work of its National Elections Committee.
