According to the tournament system, in the round of 32, the Moroccan team will face the leader of Group Six, where the current possibilities are limited to the Netherlands, Japan, or Sweden, awaiting the results of the final round of this group, which will officially determine the identity of the competitor.
The Atlas Lions finished the group stage after a draw with Brazil (1-1), a victory over Scotland (1-0), and then a victory over Haiti (4-2), equal with Brazil in number of points and trailing on goal difference only.
