The training sector for health and nursing professions in Morocco is witnessing a significant increase in demand for qualified competencies, as a result of the availability of job opportunities locally and internationally.

This growth comes as a response to the challenges facing the health sector, most notably the shortage of qualified human resources within health institutions, in addition to the attractive opportunities offered by other countries, which prompts many professionals to move towards working abroad.
According to an informed source, Morocco seeks to achieve sufficiency in qualified health personnel by 2030, by adopting strategies aimed at increasing the number of specialists in the health sector.
In this context, many private higher schools have been opened that offer specialized programs in health and nursing professions, providing new opportunities for those wishing to enter this field, especially for those who were unable to join government university institutions.
In the same context, the vocational training sector has witnessed remarkable development with the opening of new specializations to train health assistants, which contributes to enhancing the operational capabilities of hospitals and health centers.
For his part, the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprises, Employment and Competencies, Younes Skouri, confirmed that the demand for health professions has exceeded expectations, noting that this sector represents an essential pillar in supporting and strengthening the Moroccan health system through the qualification of the specialized workforce.
