Paris Saint-Germain became the club with the most representative scorers in the 2026 World Cup, after Hakimi raised the number of its players who scored goals in the tournament to six players, which is the highest number among all the participating clubs through their international players.
Hakimi’s achievement came during the match in which the Moroccan national team defeated Haiti with a score of 4 goals to 2, where he opened the scoring for the “Atlas Lions”, and he also contributed to the second goal scored by Ismail Saibari.

According to data published by the French newspaper L’Equipe, Hakimi joined a list that includes five players from Paris Saint-Germain who have previously registered in the current tournament, namely Bradley Barkola, Ibrahim Mbaye, Joao Neves, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes.
The Opta network, which specializes in statistics, also confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain players raised their tally to 36 goals in the World Cup finals since Russia 2018, making it the club with the most goals scored by its players during this period.
On the individual level, Hakimi became the second Moroccan player in the history of the World Cup to succeed in scoring and assisting a goal during the same match, after Abdeljalil Hada “Camacho,” who achieved the same feat in the 1998 World Cup in France against the Scotland national team.
The Moroccan star continues to perform strongly during the current tournament, at a time when the Moroccan national team aspires to go far in the qualifying rounds and achieve a new achievement in the history of its World Cup participations.
