Rabat –The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports announced the completion of the final results for the baccalaureate examinations for the 2026 session, following the announcement of the results of the remedial session, bringing the overall success rate among teacher candidates to 81.6%, with 337,192 female and male candidates passing in the total of the two sessions.
The Ministry stated, in an official statement, that 64,586 male and female candidates were able to successfully pass the remedial course, while the attendance rate during this course reached 86%.
Official data showed that females continued to outperform success rates, reaching 84.5% compared to 78.6% among males.
As for the independent candidates, the number of successful candidates in the two sessions reached 31,34 male and female candidates, with a success rate of 54.5%, while 9,549 male and female candidates were able to succeed in the remedial session.
The Ministry confirmed that the various stages of the baccalaureate exams passed under normal organizational conditions, thanks to the mobilization of educational and administrative frameworks, local authorities and security agencies, along with various stakeholders, while continuing to implement procedures aimed at preserving the credibility of the baccalaureate certificate and ensuring equal opportunities among all candidates.
She also praised the efforts made by students, educational frameworks, families and the media in making this national entitlement a success, which constitutes an essential step in the academic path and access to institutions of higher education and vocational training.
