Digital risks in Tunisia – A fake website exploits the names of state institutions to steal data

Tunisia –The National Cyber Safety Agency warned today of a fraudulent website impersonating financial institutions by copying the design and content of their official websites, with the aim of misleading users and luring them into entering their personal and banking data and passwords into fake forms.

The agency explained that this site uses advanced phishing methods to collect sensitive data, calling on citizens not to interact with it or enter any personal or financial information or secret codes.

She stressed the necessity of verifying the website address before entering any data, and avoiding clicking on links received via email, text messages, or social media applications from unreliable sources.
